First time seeing Liverpool in trouble

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp admitted that this was the first time he saw Liverpool struggling after being defeated by Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the 2024 FA Cup which was held on Sunday (17/3/2024).

In that match Manchester United beat Liverpool with a score of 4-3. Manchester United's winning goal was scored by Amad Diallo in the 120th minute of extra time.

Klopp quoted from the official website Liverpool FC, Monday (18/3/2024) said that the defeat was quite disappointing for him. Moreover, this was the first time he saw Liverpool having difficulty in a match.

“We didn't finish the game well. When we left the door open at Old Trafford, it opened up opportunities for them. Everything then became difficult for us. We have played many games and this is the first time I see us struggling,” said Klopp.

The coach, who was born on June 16 1967, continued that the matches presented by Manchester United and Liverpool actually needed to be appreciated. According to him, both teams fought very hard to become winners.

According to him, both teams both understand the importance of the FA Cup competition. Only this time Manchester United fought even harder than Liverpool.

“I think everyone who watched today's game saw two teams that understand the importance of opportunity and competition. We really tried everything,” he stressed.
