Flipside Feature Officially Missing from Instagram

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Instagram announced that it would remove the second account feature, Flipside, on May 24 2024. Now, on Friday (24/5/2024), the Flipside Instagram feature has completely disappeared from Instagram.

Monitoring by Tekno Liputan6.com, this morning, when you opened the Instagram application, there was an announcement stating that Flipside was no longer on Instagram.

However, uploads that have been posted on a Flipside profile will be saved in Archive or archived.

Instagram says that all uploads in the archive can only be seen by the account owner, unless the account owner wants to share them.

Based on observations, the lock icon (Flipside symbol) which was originally at the bottom right of the Instagram profile has disappeared. Flipside was officially removed from Instagram.

Meanwhile, previously, Instagram said that account owners could download their Flipside uploads to save to their devices.

Downloading content that has been shared on Flipside can be done from the end of April until August 25 2024 via the Account Center.

Even so, so far there is no information about why Instagram decided to remove Flipside or the second Instagram account feature.
