Indonesia Wins 1 Champion Title from Orleans Masters

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Indonesia brought a championship title from the Orleans Masters badminton tournament, Sunday (17/3/2024).

In the final of the Orleans Masters which was held at the Palais des sports, Orleans, France, Indonesia placed three representatives. However, of the three representatives, only one received the title.

The title was won by Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Allessya Rose who defeated Rui Hirokami/Yuna Kato (Japan) 21-12, 21-18.

Meanwhile, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari had to end the tournament in disappointment after being defeated by Cheng Xing/Zhang Chi from China in the final.

Rinov/Pitha lost in three games, 21-16, 18-21, 15-21.

Another Indonesian pair, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani also had to settle for being runners up at the Orleans Masters after being defeated by Choong Hon Jian/Haikal Muhammad (Malaysia) 15-21, 21-18, 14-21.
