Inter Miami Introducing Lionel Messi on 16 July

– MLS club, Inter Miami will introduce Lionel Messi as their new player on July 16. In the event entitled “The Unveil”, there will also be entertainment at the club’s DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, north of Miami.

Inter Miami actually did not reveal the event “The Unveil” as an introduction to Messi. Former England and Manchester United midfielder, David Beckham, one of the club’s owners, will also attend the event.

“The main opening ceremony will include exciting entertainment, on-pitch speeches and much more,” the club said in a press release.

Argentine seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi said last month he would move to Major League Soccer club after the expiration of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi is expected to make his debut on July 21 against Mexican side Cruz Azul in the League Cup – a tournament between the top clubs of the MLS and the Mexican league.

Messi is one of the star players presented by Inter Miami. After Messi, Inter Miami also recruited Gerardo Martino as the new coach. As is well known, Martino is a former coach of Barcelona and the Argentina national team.

Inter Miami’s majority owner, Jorge Mas, has said that the club could make three to five signings during the current transfer window.
