It’s widely reported that Harry Kane is still on Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-season tour
– Amid speculation that he will leave, striker Harry Kane is still being included by Tottenham Hotspur on the Asia-Pacific pre-season tour. But not for the club captain, Hugo Lloris, who wants to complete his move to a new club.
England captain Kane has now entered the final 12 months of his contract at Spurs. His name has recently been widely reported to be being targeted by Bayern Munich. Reportedly even the Bundesliga champions have made an official bid.
Kane along with several other international players returned to pre-season training on Wednesday (12/7/2023).
Tottenham’s attitude towards Kane has not changed so far, namely not selling him. Kane has long been in interest from a number of top clubs, including Manchester City who tried to sign the forward in 2021, only to be turned down by Spurs.
The Tottenham squad head to Perth in Australia including new signing James Maddison after signing from Leicester for £40 million.
On the pre-season tour, Spurs will face Leicester in Thailand on July 23. Three days later they faced a team from Singapore, Lion City Sailors in Singapore.
Spurs are scheduled to play their 2023/2024 Premier League opener against West Ham on July 18.
