KOI and French Embassy Socialize 2024 Paris Olympics

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) or NOC Indonesia is collaborating with the French Embassy in Indonesia to socialize the 2024 Paris Olympics which will take place from July 26 to August 11.

NOC Indonesia was represented by Secretary General Wijaya Noeradi, Deputy Secretary General Cresida Mariska and Marketing and Communications Manager Arki Prizananda. Meanwhile, the French Embassy was represented by Cooperation and Culture Counselor Jules Irrmann and Charlotte Esnou as Cultural Attache.

“We, NOC Indonesia, have guests from the French Embassy to establish cooperation in this context Road to Olympics. Some programs that have been discussed include: photo exhibitions and also the International Women's Days Event. There are other programs that are no less important scholarship program “which will be beneficial for both athletes and federation administrators who will take advantage of this program,” said Cresida in Jakarta, Saturday (17/2/2024).

He explained that the Indonesian NOC and the French Embassy were also jointly making preparations for this Paris Olympics 2024 with several activities sports diplomacythe benefits of which can be felt and enjoyed by Indonesian athletes.

Meanwhile, Jules Irrmann admitted that he was happy with the collaboration between the French Embassy and NOC Indonesia. Through this collaboration, France as the host of the 2024 Olympics has a network to be able to transmit values olympism to the Indonesian people through various kinds of activations that will be carried out.

“This year, for the first time, France will host the Olympics, this is a big gathering from all over the world, and as a Cooperation and Cultural Counselor at the French Embassy in Jakarta. I am very happy to be able to work with NOC Indonesia. We will work together with NOC Indonesia to create activations in the general public such as exhibitions and cultural events to understand the meaning of the Olympics and especially to spread values Olympism,” he explained.

Jules hopes that cooperation between NOC Indonesia and the French Embassy in Jakarta can continue well in the future. It's not just limited to preparations for the Olympics which are only a matter of months away.

“We are very enthusiastic that this collaboration will not only be limited to sports, but can continue for the future, especially those we discussed today, such as the possibility of training scholarships in France, student exchanges, and others.
