Leaving Inter, Marcelo Brozovic Follows Ronaldo to Al Nassr

– The surprising decision was made by Marcelo Brozovic who chose to leave Inter Milan to join Al Nassr. His transfer to Al Nassr was officially announced this Monday.

With this move, Brozovic joins Cristiano Ronaldo who had previously joined Al Nassr in January.

Well-known transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, reports that Brozovic has signed a three-year contract with the second-ranked team in the Saudi Arabian League for the 2022/2023 season.

Romano also revealed that the 30-year-old player’s transfer fee is 18 million euros.

“Marcelo Brozovic was officially introduced as a new Al Nassr player. The contract agreement is valid until June 2023 and the transfer value is 18 million Euros for Inter,” wrote Romano via his Twitter account, on Tuesday (4/7/2023).

According to Transfermarkt, since joining Nerazzurri as of January 2015, Brozovic has made 330 appearances in all competitions scoring 31 goals and 43 assists.

During his career with the club with the distinctive Blue and Black jersey color, which covers the last five years, the player who was born on November 16, 1992 has won five trophies, including one Serie A (2020/2021), two Coppa Italia (2021) /2022, 2022/2023), and twice in Supercoppa Italiana (2021/2022, 2022/2023).

In his last season with Inter, namely the 2022/2023 season, Brozovic played a major role in bringing his team to the Champions League final. Unfortunately, they lost to Manchester City with a score of 0-1 in the final match.

In addition, in the same season, Brozovic also reached the final of the 2023 UEFA Nations League with the Croatian national team, but they lost in a shootout against Spain with a score of 4-5.
