The Thomas Cup and Uber Cup are among the most prestigious badminton tournaments. Where, the athletes competed in teams, the men's team (competing for the Thomas Cup) and the women's team (competing for the Uber Cup).

Apart from that, the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup are team matches between countries. Matches are played in five match sequences, namely first singles, first doubles, second singles, second doubles and third singles to conclude the match.

Now, the 2024 Thomas Cup and 2024 Uber Cup have entered the quarter-finals, both men's and women's teams have successfully entered this round.

In this quarter-final, the 2024 Thomas Cup Indonesia Team will compete against the Thai team. The Thomas Indonesia team had previously won group C, after beating the Indian, Thai and English teams.
