MotoGP: Jorge Martin admits Francesco Bagnaia deserves to be retained by the Ducati factory team
Martin had elbowed Bagnaia from the top of the standings before the end of the 2023 competition. However, he made a number of mistakes resulting in a 39 point deficit in the final table.
“Last season I was able to compete. I had to maintain momentum. However, there are several aspects that can be developed, related to mental, physical or motorbike settings,” said Martin.
“I'm working to put everything in order. It's important to be 100 percent in every category because it will determine the fight for the world title. And also hopefully I'll be blessed with luck to achieve it,” he continued.
