National Library Opens Voice Regarding Website Hacking by Hacker Allegedly Bjorka

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – The National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas) website, with the URL address, was hacked and changed its appearance on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

The hacking action was carried out by hackers in their name as Bjorka.

This has become a public spotlight, and many are wondering about the security of personal data on the National Library's website.

Through the official statement to Todaysgist.comTuesday (20/2/2024), Head of the National Library's Legal, Organization, Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, Sri Marganingsih, opened her voice.

“Data on the National Library website is safe. Data from hacked websites is also not confidential,” he explained.

He hopes that this hacking of government websites will not happen again.

Until this news was written, Sri Marganingsih said, “currently, the National Library's IT team has temporarily deactivated the hacked website and is making efforts to increase security.”

He added that the National Library is also currently coordinating with related parties to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

According to information, hacker Bjorka hacked and changed the appearance of the National Library website as a form of social and political movement.

Based on the text written on the site, the perpetrator wrote the angry text aimed at the political elite, especially the PDI Perjuangan party.

Turned to ashes!” wrote the perpetrator in the name of Bjorka.
