Desk. Pankaj Tripathi, the multi-talented actor of Bollywood industry, will soon be seen in the film ‘Oh My God 2’ i.e. ‘OMG 2’. Pankaj, who won the hearts of the audience with his stellar performance in ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, has been a part of amazing projects one after the other. Recently news came about the actor’s upcoming film ‘OMG 2’ that it has been sent to the revising committee. CBFC chairman Prasoon Joshi will watch it to decide the fate of the film.
Although, there is no response from the team of the film till now, but now Pankaj has released his statement. Responding to the news about the film in an interview, Pankaj Tripathi said, ‘All I would say is please don’t believe what is being written about it. People are talking a lot, but the truth will come out when the film releases.
From Pankaj’s statement, it seems that even though the film has been sent to the committee, there is no bad news regarding its release. The film ‘OMG 2’ has been in the limelight since its release. From the first poster to the teaser, the film remained the subject of discussions on social media. It was clear from the teaser that Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of Lord Shiva in the film.
Apart from this, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen in the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who is a great devotee of Shiva. Whereas, Yami Gautam will be in the role of a lawyer. ‘OMG 2’ is directed by Amit Rai. The film will reportedly be based on the subject of sex education in schools. If ‘OMG 2’ releases on schedule, it will clash with Sunny Deol’s most awaited film ‘Gadar 2’ at the box office. The release date of both the films is August 11.
