Persib Bandung Coaching Team Running Thin, Assistant Luis Milla Joins In Resigning

Luis Milla has resigned from Persib for personal reasons. He has a report card of 17 wins, seven draws and six defeats during his time in charge of the Blue Prince.

“It’s a difficult day because I have to leave Persib for personal reasons. For me, the time and journey with Persib went well, full of love and affection from all aspects of the club,” said Milla.

He continued, the decision to resign as coach was not related to players or other factors. Apart from Milla, assistant coach Manuel Perez-Cascallana and physical trainer, Carlos Grande Rodriguez, also withdrew.

“Whatever I have gone through with the players has gone well. So, this is a personal matter. It is difficult, but I have to be able to decide,” said the coach from Spain.

At the end of her statement, Milla specifically expressed her appreciation for the support that had been given.

On that occasion, he was accompanied by Dignified PT Persib Bandung Commissioner Umuh Muchtar, Kuswara S. Taryono, Deputy CEO Teddy Tjahjono and Commercial Director, Gabriella Witdarmono.
