Persik Without 3 Mainstay Players When Visiting Dewa United

Kediri, Beritasatu.com – Three players from Persik Kediri will certainly not appear in the continuation of the League 1 competition match against Dewa United in Tangerang, Banten, on Friday (21/7/2023).

One of the players who will be absent is Anderson do Nasicimento, who is currently recovering from an injury. The Brazilian player was withdrawn early in the first half against Arema FC, on 15 July 2023 due to a hamstring injury.

Apart from Anderson, Vava Mario Yagallo and Fitra Ridwan will also be absent as they are recovering from minor injuries.

“These players are absent because they are still in the stage of recovering their physical condition,” said Persik Kediri coach, Marcelo Rospide, in Kediri, on Wednesday.

“In the circumstances of losing players like Anderson, Vava and Fitra, it’s a loss, but I’m sure it’s not a big problem because I really believe in this team,” he added.

Therefore, the coach was determined to take advantage of the potential of the players in the match against Dewa United.

“I’m sure the players who will replace the third role will perform to their best abilities. We have also tried several compositions during practice before leaving for Tangerang,” he continued.

Coach Marcelo is optimistic that he can score points at home to the opponent, but he admits that the home team is quite strong.

“In such a tight competition, of course the target is victory, but a draw is also not a bad thing considering that our opponents are a very strong team and are in a good standing position at the moment,” he said.

The match against Dewa United will take place at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, on Friday (21/7/2023) evening.

The players that Persik Kediri will bring to Tangerang are: Dikri Yusron, Kurniawan Kartika Adjie, Simen Lyngbo, Hamra Hehanusa, Yusuf Meilana, Hari Nasution, Gunawan Dwi Cahyo, Aqil Munawar, Rohit Chand, Artur Irawan, Ady Eko Jayanto, Ahmad Agung , Fitra Ridwan, Renan Silva, Ferinando Pahabol, Jeam Kelly Sroyer, Supriadi, Jefinho, Flavio Silva, Riyatno Abiyoso, Faris Aditama, and Rendy Juliansyah.

Currently, Persik Kediri is in 11th place with four points, while Dewa United is in second place with seven points.
