Police Discuss League 1 Security Concept After ASEAN Summit

The National Police Headquarters will discuss the concept of security related to the activities of the Indonesian League 1 for the 2023-2024 season. Later, the National Police will discuss this matter after the ASEAN High Level Conference or Summit series is over.

It is known, League 1 is planned to start on July 1, 2023.

Assistant to the Chief of Police for Operations (Asops) Inspector General Pol Agung Setya Imam Effendi said the National Police would discuss the matter of organizing League 1 together with PSSI.

“The National Police will prepare a new concept for organizing a better and more comfortable league for spectators, organizers and clubs,” Agung said when confirmed, Thursday (11/5/2023).

Agung said, his party would conduct discussions internally after the ASEAN Summit and afterwards would hold joint discussions with related parties, one of which was PSSI.

Then, the focus of the upcoming Liga 1 is the comfort and safety aspects.

“Let’s together realize a new era of advanced and classy Indonesian football,” he said.
