PSIS vs Persebaya: Mahesa Jenar Beats Bajul Ijo 2-0

PSIS Semarang managed to beat Persebaya Surabaya with a score of 2-0 in the continuation of League 1, at the Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang City, Sunday (16/7/2023). Two of Laskar Mahesa Jenar’s winning goals were scored by Carlos Fortes’ kick in the second half.

PSIS Semarang and Persebaya Surabaya played at a moderate tempo from the start of the match. Because both teams are more careful in building attacks.

Persebaya Surabaya as the guest surprised the home fans with a hard kick from outside the penalty box by Ze Valente. However, his shot still bounced slightly over the crossbar.

In the middle of the first half, PSIS also created a ripe opportunity, through Taisei Marukawa’s shot, but it only bounced over the Persebaya goal.
