Carlos Villagrán, known for playing Quico, faces online controversy after announcing that on June 1st he will be at an event in Mexico charging $2,600 pesos per autograph. This event will take place at the collectors' store at the La Gran Plaza mall in Guadalajara. Fans who want an autograph, with the option of a certificate of authenticity, a Quico hat, a printed photo and a cell phone photo, will have to pay the aforementioned amount.

Some social media users expressed disapproval of the prices. An internet user on the old Twitter commented: “My favorite character was Don Ramón (Seu Madruga), Kiko and then Chaves. But $150 for an autograph? Not even Elvis was resurrected!” Another lamented: “He was good in his time. Nowadays my 'Bonus U2 and Mick Jagger in the Stones' charges zero pesos for an autograph! What a shame for old Kiko.” A third person suggested: “Surely half of the money raised will go towards establishing the event.”
