Shock! PSSI Will Hold Trial Match for Indonesia U-17 National Team vs South Korea Ahead of the 2023 U-17 World Cup
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir claims that the plan to bring in the U-17 South Korean national team in the trial match against Indonesia has received approval from the opponent in question.
Meanwhile, PSSI and South Korea are still discussing a definite date for holding the match. What is clear, the two countries are scheduled to meet in the range of 20-30 August.
“God willing, we will try a friendly match between the U-17 Indonesian national team against the South Korean U-17 national team in August,” said Erick Thohir in a press conference at the Danareksa Tower, Jakarta, Thursday (20/7/2023).
“This is still between (dates) August 20-30. Maybe in the next few days (confirmed), but today’s 10-day slot from South Korea is okay, just the (specific) date.”
“Because we are back, we have a league match. If there is a collision with a league match, of course the field is also limited, now this is what we are arranging. Including South Korea, they also want to calculate their preparations,” he added.
