Britney Spears was expecting her third child, but the singer announced on Saturday via Instagram that the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage after five weeks.
The forty-year-old singer announced on April 12 that she and her fiancé Sam Asghari were expecting their first child. “Maybe we should have waited to announce the arrival of our baby, but we were so excited that we wanted to share the news immediately,” she writes on Instagram.
She writes that they will continue to try to have a baby. “The love we have for each other is our strength. We are grateful for your support.”
