Successful Implementation and Achievement, Central Java Champion of Korpri Pornas 2023

Semarang, Beritasatu.com – Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo officially closed the implementation of the XVI National Sports Week (Pornas) Indonesian Civil Servants Corps of the Republic of Indonesia Pornas (Korpri) 2023 at the Jatidiri Sports Hall Semarang, Friday (21/7/2023). Menpora appreciates Central Java Province for its success as host and achievements as the overall champion of Pornas Korpri 2023.

In the sporting event between state civil servants (ASN) throughout Indonesia, host Central Java came out as the overall champion. The Central Java contingent managed to collect 11 gold, 12 silver and 12 bronze. Followed by the contingent of the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the acquisition of 11 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze. While the third position was won by the East Java Province contingent by bringing home 5 gold, 1 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Present at the event were the Regional Secretary of Central Java Province, Sumarno, Chairperson of the Central Java TP PKK Atikoh Ganjar Pranowo, Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Bintang Puspayoga, Mayor of Semarang Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, Chairperson of the National Korpri DP Zudan Arif Fakrulloh Chair of PP Bapor Korpri Asrorun Ni’am, as well as governors or representatives from various provinces in Indonesia.

“Thank God, Central Java became the overall champion by obtaining 11 gold, 11 silver and 12 bronze. This is an honor, because so far Central Java has never been the overall champion of Korpri Porn. This is also our motivation and hopefully it will be even better in the future,” said the regional secretary.

The Regional Secretary explained that Central Java Province as the home for Korpri Pornas received appreciation from various parties. Both in terms of implementation and achievements, Central Java has given a good impression to the Korpri Pornas Sports Development Board, the participants, including other related parties. In addition to achievements, the implementation of the 2023 Korpri Pornas also had an impact on increasing the economy in the city of Semarang and its surroundings.

“Alhamdulillah, we as the hosts of Korpri Pornas, the implementation went smoothly. And according to the report earlier, that our implementation was appreciated. The participants experienced an increase, and from the implementation there were also no things that were less pleasing to the contingent,” said the regional secretary.

Menpora Dito Ariotedjo expressed his appreciation to leaders and officials within ministries, institutions and provinces for their support and participation in sending participants. Appreciation is also pinned on all participants and contingents of each institution, match officials, and supporting institutions that have played a role in the success of organizing the 2023 Korpri Pornas.

“And also the highest appreciation to the Provincial Government of Central Java and the City Government of Semarang as the hosts for the successful implementation of the XVI Korpri Pornas, both in implementation and achievement,” he said.

Pornas Korpri 2023 was attended by 101 contingents with a total of more than 6,000 participants consisting of 31 ministries, 32 institutions and 38 provinces. Pornas Korpri XVI which took place from 14-21 July 2023 competed in 10 sports with 177 medals. The sports being contested are volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, court tennis, bicycle racing, chess, gateball, Korpri gymnastics, and futsal.

“Hopefully, in the future, because of the location of the XVII Pornas Kopri in South Sumatra, the sports branch will be added. The hope is that the Korpri Pornas sports activities between Indonesian employees will be a symbol of friendship, friendship, and togetherness as well as achievements. Be opponents in the field, but later become friends,” he explained.

The Menpora hopes that the biennial sports event will further strengthen cohesiveness and solidity among employees, increase synergy between institutions in building, managing and managing the Indonesian nation. Apart from that, Korpri Pornas is also able to provide joy and a sense of joy, so that it can encourage the spirit to work better.

On that occasion, the Chairperson of the Central Java TP PKK, Atikoh Ganjar Pranowo handed medals to the winners of the futsal sports, Central Java won first place, followed by DKI Jakarta, and third place in Bangka Belitung. Followed by the awarding of trophies by Menpora Dito Ariotedjo to Central Java Secretary Sumarno. Then the handover of the Korpri Pornas disaster from the Secretary of Central Java to representatives from South Sumatra Province who will host the 2025 Korpri Pornas XVII.

The closing of the 2023 Korpri Pornas ended with the handing over of award certificates to the 10 best contingents, namely the first best contingent was the Central Java Province contingent, then the Ministry of Youth and Sports, East Java Province, Bali Province, West Java Province, the Ministry of Education and Culture, South Sulawesi, the Ministry of Finance, West Kalimantan, and DKI Jakarta.
