F1 Powerboat Lake Toba, Jonas and Erik Fastest in Sprint Race

Balige, Beritasatu.com – Superfast motorboat racer Jonas Andersson from the Binh Dinh team, and Erik Stark from the Victory team achieved perfect points in sprint race 1st and 2nd in the opening series of F1 Powerboat Lake Toba 2024, Saturday (2/3/2024). The sprint race was held for the first time in the Lake Toba F1 Powerboat series at Mulia Raja Napitupulu Harbor, Balige, Toba Regency, North Sumatra.

In that race, Jonas and Erik won 10 points and completed 14 laps from each Sprint Race group held by promoter F1H2O Racing. In sprint race 1, nine racers appeared.

Jonas who appeared at the forefront in sprint race 1, competing closely with the winner of the Lake Toba F1 Powerboat series last year, namely Bartek Marszalek from the Stromoy Racing team.

After competing closely for 14 rounds, Bartek was finally only able to occupy second place with nine points and was followed by Ben Jelf from the Atlantic F1 team in third place with eight points.

For sprint race 2, F1H2O Racing groups eight racers in one race. Based on data from F1H2O Racing, racer Ahmad Al Fahim from the Victory team did not participate in this race category.

In the race sprint race 2, Erik Stark who appeared at the forefront beat Rusty Wyatt from the Sharjah team in second place.

In third position, Peter Morin from the Chinese team CTIC, followed by Marit Stromoy from the Stromoy Racing team in fourth position.

Moment sprint race 2, Erik also completed 14 rounds and got the same points as Jonas Andersson, who was world champion last season.

Based on information, the final race will be held on Sunday (3/3/2024), starting at 11.15-12.00 WIB, after the racers have warmed up at 07.00-08.00 WIB.

For the second time, Indonesia is hosting the superfast motorboat race or F1H2O (F1 Powerboat) series on Lake Toba. This year's F1 Powerboat was attended by 18 racers from nine teams and from 10 countries. However, at Lake Toba only 17 racers appeared.
