In the qualifying session to determine pole position for the main race the day before, Friday (1/3/2024), Team Binh Dinh Vietnam racer, Jonas Andersson appeared fastest, achieving a record time of 1 minute 2.662 seconds.
Behind him was Victory Team champion Erik Stark with a time of 1 minute 2.685 seconds. Rusty Wyatt finished third with a record of 1 minute 3.459 seconds, followed by Team Binh Dinh racer Stefan Arand with a time of 1 minute 3.637 seconds.
Meanwhile, last year's Lake Toba series champion, Bartek Marszalek from the Stromoy Racing Team was in fifth place with a time of 1 minute 3.742 seconds, with Sami Selio from the Red Devil SMC F1 Team in sixth place with a score of 1 minute 4.011 seconds.
