The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is out May 25 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC

After many delays, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum appears to have finally earned its definitive release date. Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment announced via press release that the game will come out on May 25 for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Switch version will arrive later, still in 2023.

To commemorate the announcement, new gameplay from The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be shown shortly at 2:30 pm ET on the twitch.

Even though he is a vital element in JRR Tolkien’s narrative, many parts of Gollum’s adventures have yet to be fleshed out. In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, you have the chance to experience this story. From his time as a slave in the Dark Tower vaults to his stay with the Elves in Trevamata.

Use stealth, agility and cunning to survive and overcome what awaits you. Climb, jump and hang to escape danger or access strategic points.

Though Gollum is not a fighter, he is not above disposing of an unsuspecting enemy when the opportunity arises (or getting rid of him in more creative and villainous ways).
