The Magpies Ensure the Away Team is Relegated

Newcastle, Beritasatu.com – Alexander Isak scored twice, while his teammates Bruno Guimaraes and Callum Wilson also scored as Newcastle United beat Sheffield United 5-1 at St James' Park on Saturday (27/4/2024) evening WIB. This result also ensured that the visiting team was relegated from the English Premier League.

Sheffield's Ben Osborn also scored an own goal to give Newcastle an advantage who are in seventh place in the standings, collecting 53 points from 34 games this season.

Sheffield has only collected 16 points from 35 matches and occupies the last position (20) in the standings. “We haven't been good enough. This league has been too strong for us all season,” said Sheffield manager Chris Wilder.

The game was one-sided after that when Osborn put the ball into his own net during a scramble in the box and Wilson scored the fifth goal.
