However, there is another side that may not be well known to the public. Lee Yi Kyung turns out to be a very kind person. This was revealed by Shin Dong Yup in the event he hosted, My Little Old Boy.

Reporting from SBS StarMonday (19/2/2024), Shin Dong Yup said he knows quite well the actor who is attached to the iconic phrase “Gwenchana”.

“I personally know Yi Kyung well, and he is known to really care for those close to him. Among us, he is known for his kindness and loyalty,” said Shin Dong Yup.

One example is Lee Yi Kyung helping a friend he met while in the military to set up a fried chicken restaurant business. “At that time his friend was going through difficult times because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Yi Kyung knew about her friend's difficult situation and helped her,” said Shin Dong Yup.
