Actually, this whole matter is of the year 2018, when Neeru made serious allegations against Armaan Kohli. Neeru and Armaan were in a relationship at that time. Neeru had said that there was an argument between the two, after which Armaan attacked her. Armaan had pushed Neeru down the stairs, causing serious injuries. At the same time, Neeru had 15 stitches. After this Neeru lodged an FIR and then Armaan Kohli was arrested under sections 323, 504 and 506 of the IPC.

Along with this, the court also directed Armaan to deposit an amount of Rs 1 lakh as cost to the Children’s Treatment Center of Tata Memorial Center and The National Association of the Blind within 6 months from today (the date of the order). After this Armaan came out of jail.
Now since Neeru has not yet received Rs 50 lakh, he has again approached the court. Now on this matter, Justice NW Sambre and RN Laddha said on Tuesday, ‘Either he pays the money, or we withdraw the order.’ Significantly, apart from Neeru’s case, Armaan has also gone to jail.
