Ticket prices for the Argentina match in China have skyrocketed like crazy, close to IDR 10 million

Global Times reported that the ticket price for the match was actually 4,800 Yuan or nearly IDR 10 million. However, the 68,000 tickets sold out in just 20 minutes.
The high buying interest to watch the Argentina national team made resale sites in China increase ticket prices many times the original price. The Beijing Police themselves have issued an advisory to fans to be extra careful.
“Ticket brokers have even dared to openly offer their wares on social media, Weibo. Tickets are being traded online,” wrote the Global Times report on Tuesday (13/6/2023).
In fact, there is a post for a package ticket priced at IDR 625 million which is said to have dinner facilities with Messi. However, this was denied by the Beijing Security Bureau, which called the information a hoax or false advertisement.
