Twitch Announces Major App Design Change, First Time Since 2019

This change was revealed directly by Twitch CEO Dan Clancy in an open letter uploaded to the Twitch blog. Quoting information from EngadgetFriday (8/3/2024), this update is scheduled to launch at the end of 2024.

“We redesigned the appearance of the mobile app (the first major update since 2019) to provide a more modern and seamless viewing experience by making the discovery feed available to all Twitch users as a new experience in the app,” wrote Dan.
