U-17 National Team Players Enthusiastic about Participating in Initial Training

– The Indonesian U-17 national team players were very enthusiastic about participating in the first training at the ABC Senayan field, Jakarta, Thursday (13/7/2023). The training menu presented by Coach Bima Sakti is lived by the players.

This exercise is part of Garuda Asia’s preparations to take part in the 2023 U-17 World Cup which will be held in Indonesia.

“After medical tests, psychological tests and confirmation, today we will hold the first training session on the pitch. The fitness of all the players is quite good and this weekend will be held indoorgames,” said Bima Sakti quoted on the official PSSI website, Thursday (13/7/2023).

It is said that Bima will later arrange the promotion and relegation of players every week. In addition, later players will be selected from a selection in 12 cities.

Bima said the selected players met the team’s criteria and needs. “Every player does not have his own characteristics, everyone has the same opportunity to enter the Indonesian U-17 national team,” he added.

One of the players, Muhammad Iqbal Gwijangge, said he was in good condition to take part in the U-17 selection. He really enjoyed the training material provided by the trainer.

“Thank God we trained for the U-17 team for four days. We are very happy and looking forward to the practice. Of course, I hope to be selected and play in the U-17 team which will compete in the 2023 U-17 World Cup. For that I have to work hard, be disciplined and follow the coach’s orders,” said Muhammad Iqbal.
