Upload AC Milan's celebration after beating Lazio, Pulisic receives death threats

Rome, Beritasatu.com – AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic received many death threats and harassment on social media following the 1-0 win over Lazio in Serie A on Friday (1/3/2024).

In this match, Lazio finished the match with eight players, including one of Pulisic's red cards.

However, uploads of photos of him and the Milan team celebrating after the match on Instagram were flooded with harsh comments, including death threats. There were also plenty of messages of support for the American, including from Milan teammate Theo Hernández, who wrote, “Puliiii, I am your security.”

In this hot match, Pulisic was involved in two of the three red cards issued by the referee to Lazio players. First, the red card received by Lazio player Luca Pellegrini in the 67th minute was due to his foul on Pulisic. After that, it was Matteo Guendouzi's turn to immediately receive a red card in added time for reacting badly to Pulisic's foul.

Lazio had to lose another player after defender Adam Marusic was sent off in stoppage time.
