Wesley Safadão and three other attractions are confirmed for Picos Cidade Junina – Cidades na Net

One of the biggest events in the city of Picos, 313km from the capital Teresina, Picos Cidade Junina is in its edition and will be held between the 1st and 2nd of June, in a location yet to be confirmed.

The event is free and is held by the Government of Piauí, through the State Secretariat of Tourism of Piauí, which is currently managed by lawyer José Neto Monteiro. The event also has the support of state deputy Dr. Pablo Santos.

In a video released by state deputy Pablo Santos on social media, singer Wesley Safadão confirmed his participation in Picos Cidade Junina and highlighted that it will be a great show.

“Hello guys from Picos, Safadão in the area, we already have a date set to satisfy our longing, we are going to do a great show at Picos Cidade Junina on June 2nd. A hug for our deputy Pablo Santos, thank you for your kindness, we’re going to have a great party,” he said.

Dr. Pablo Santos thanked his fellow parliamentarians and governor Rafael Fonteles and highlighted that it will be the biggest São João in the state. “I thank the governor and deputies Fábio Xavier and Tiago Vascocenlos and Simone Pereira for the amendments, as it is not just an event, it is about rescuing northeastern culture, there will be square dances, typical food and it will certainly be the biggest São João in Piauí”, he assured .

Governor Rafael Fonteles highlighted that the moment values ​​culture. “The next edition of Picos Cidade Junina promises to be one of the best in Piauí!! Just look at the attractions: Wesley Safadão, Seu Quero, Walkyria Santos and Eric Land. Just a good band, huh?! More than a party, the event is an opportunity to value our culture, which offers entertainment, typical foods, boosts the economy, strengthens tourism and brings a lot of joy to our people”, he guaranteed.

The Secretary of State for Tourism of Piauí, José Neto Monteiro, commented on Picos Cidade Junina. “It's the biggest festival in Piauí, there are incredible attractions, including Wesley Safadão, Walkyria Santos, Seu Quero and Eric Land”, he highlighted.
