Withdrawing as coach, Luis Milla: Thank you Persib

– Luis Milla surprisingly resigned as coach of Persib Bandung. He conveyed this decision through a press conference at Graha Persiib, Jalan Sulanjana Number 17, Bandung City, Saturday (15/7/2023).

“It’s a difficult day because I have to leave Persib for personal reasons. For me, the time and journey with Persib went well, full of love and affection from all aspects of the club,” said Milla as quoted by Persib’s official website.

Apart from Milla, assistant coach Manuel Perez-Cascallana and physical trainer, Carlos Grande Rodriguez, also withdrew.

Milla emphasized that the decision to resign was not because she was disappointed with the performance of her team. The coach from Spain actually praised and appreciated the fighting power of the players during his handling.

“Whatever I have gone through with the players has gone well. So, this is a personal matter. It is difficult, but I have to be able to decide,” said the coach from Spain.

On this occasion Milla also expressed her gratitude for the support she has received so far.

“Thank you Persib, all friends and people around you who have been patient and have given love and affection and support to this day,” he explained.
