2024 Thomas Cup Results: Bagas/Fikri Keok, China Beat Indonesia 3-1

Liputan6.com, Jakarta- Indonesia failed to win the 2024 Thomas Cup after being defeated by China 1-3 in the final. Competing at the Hi-Tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium, Chengdu, China, Sunday (5/5/2024), Indonesia's second men's doubles bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri failed to stop He Ji Ting/Ren Xiang Yu.

Bagas/Fikri lost two straight games 21-11 and 21-15. He/Ren only needed 37 minutes to ensure China's 3-1 victory over Indonesia.

For China, this is the 11th Thomas Cup title. Indonesia still holds the record for most with 14. China last lifted the Thomas Cup six years ago. China won the title because they were also champions in the 2024 Uber Cup a few hours ago.
