PSSI Chairman Hopes Justin Hubner Appears in the Olympic Playoffs

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – General Chair of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Erick Thohir, hopes that Justin Hubner will appear in the Olympic playoffs against Guinea.

Erick Thohir hopes that the Japanese club, Cerezo Osaka, will allow Justin Hubner to appear in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics playoffs.

This was expressed at the BUMN Family Gathering event at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta, Sunday (5/5/2024).

“We lost Justin's contribution who was called up by Cerezo Osaka. “We have sent a letter to Cerezo Osaka requesting his involvement again,” he told media crew.

“The Japanese League has not yet reached its final stage, it is still in its early stages. “Therefore, I hope that Cerezo Osaka and the Japanese government can maintain good relations with Indonesia and continue to support Indonesian football,” he hoped.

Therefore, he is optimistic that Justin Hubner can return to help the national team in Paris later.

“Apart from Justin, there are several other female players who can be symbols of friendship, who have helped before. “Now we ask for Justin's help to come back,” he explained.
