Again, the Governor of Lampung, Arinal Djunaidi, is in the spotlight in the realm of social media, such as on Twitter.

Previously, the Governor of Lampung was criticized by netizens when he visited a damaged road construction site before President Jokowi’s visit.

Instead of using a car, the number one person in Lampung Province prefers to use a helicopter.

Most recently, Twitter users highlighted the reaction of the Governor of Lampung with applause when Jokowi said the Central Government would take over the repair of a number of damaged roads in Lampung.

“The public should know that the responsibility for national roads lies with the central government. Provincial roads are in the hands of governors, district roads are in the hands of regents and mayors,” said Jokowi when inspecting a badly damaged road in Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, Friday (5/5) /2023).

“But this is because it has been a long time, so it will be taken over by the central government,” he continued.

Apart from being greeted happily by local residents, the Governor of Lampung, Arinal Djunaidi, can be seen smiling and clapping standing behind Jokowi in the video uploaded to the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel.

“Thank God,” said Arinal when he heard Jokowi talk about the Central Government taking over the repair of damaged roads in Lampung.

Suddenly Arinal Djunaidi’s reaction and remark immediately sparked a great reaction from social media users, especially in the realm of Twitter.
