After Mark Zuckerberg, now Mikey Musumeci trains BJJ with Hollywood stars

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Undefeated in One Championship, Mikey Musumeci was caught training Hollywood star Tom Hardy in the discipline of Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ). After Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg, the world champion One flyweight submission grappling was again caught sharing training moments with the British actor who has starred in many feature films such as Venom and Mad Max.

Musumeci shared moments of himself practicing BJJ with Tom on his personal Instagram page. He also felt proud because he could share the mattress with this veteran actor.

“It was an honor to welcome @tomhardy into my home!!! We spent a lot of time together training jiu-jitsu. Now I can call him my friend! What a cool guy!” Musumeci wrote.

In a previous upload, Musumeci uploaded the moment he met Tom when he was acting on one of the sets for his film.

It's just unexpected that the two of them met again to do it sparring BJJ together on the mat. Tom also has a BJJ background, and managed to deliver several submissions on the world champion.

Apart from his popularity with celebrities and dignitaries in the technology industry, Musumeci is a One Championship athlete whose career is in the flyweight discipline submission grappling.

He first joined “The Home of Martial Arts” in 2022, and immediately achieved a submission victory over Japanese MMA legend Masakazu Imanari.

After that, he successfully won the inaugural gold belt for that division after winning on points over Cleber Sousa in the same year. Then he also continued his winning trend to six in a row and defeated big names such as Jarred Brooks and Shinya Aoki in his last match.

Musumeci has not yet received a match schedule, but it is possible that he will defend his belt again from Sousa, who just won over Osamah Almarwai at One 166: Qatar last Friday (1/3/2024).
