Al-Nassr loses, Ronaldo is reported to have quarreled with the coaching staff

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is back to being a hot topic of conversation. The player who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr reportedly had an argument with the club’s coaching staff, after his team lost 0-1 to Al Wehda in the Saudi King’s Cup semifinal match, Tuesday (25/4/2023) WIB.

Reportedly The Mirrors, Ronaldo showed a gesture of protest to the Al Nassr coaching team. During the first half break, Ronaldo, who walked to the locker room, was involved in an altercation and protested against Al-Nassr’s coaching staff.

Previously, at the beginning of last month, the player who won five Ballon D’or titles was also reportedly involved in a dispute with the coaching team when Al-Nassr was held to a 0-0 draw by Al Feiha in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

This dispute was allegedly the trigger for the dismissal of the head coach, Rudi Garcia, who is currently being replaced by Dinko Jelicic, who previously coached Al Nassr U-19.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr’s defeat by Al Wehda was determined by the only goal from David Beaguel in the 23rd minute. Despite winning the number of players since the 55th minute after Al Wehda’s player Abdullah Al Hafith received a red card, Ronaldo et al could not score a goal to reply so that it was certain to be eliminated from the King’s Cup.

It also dashed Ronaldo’s dream of winning his first trophy in the Middle East. In the league competition, Al-Nassr is also stuck in second place, 3 points behind Al-Ittihad. Meanwhile in the Super Cup, Al-Nassr was also eliminated by Al-Ittihad in the semifinals.

This is not the first time that Ronaldo has clashed with the coach. Previously at MU, CR7 also clashed with Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag, which was revealed in his controversial interview with Piers Morgan.
