Apple Cancels IDR 1.6 Trillion Investment in Indonesia, Really?

For your information, this is not the first time Apple has opened a training academy for developers. This company first opened the Apple Developer Academy in Indonesia in 2018, located in Jakarta.

Furthermore, Apple also opened the same academy in Surabaya and Batam. Through the Apple Developer Academy program, Apple will train developers, students and entrepreneurs in developing applications for iOS.

The Apple Developer Academy program, which already exists in Surabaya, Batam and Jakarta, has been attended by more than 2,000 prospective developers.

“IDR 1.2 trillion for three academies (Apple Developer Academy in Jakarta, Surabaya and Batam). If you add another one in Bali, it will be IDR 1.6 trillion,” said Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie in a press conference at the Kominfo office after accompanying the President Jokowi meets with Apple Boss Tim Cook.
