Currently, Apple users have the ability to remove preinstalled apps from the Home Screen on iOS. Apple also plans to let users remove Safari from iOS, if they want. Apple plans to make this possible by the end of 2024.

Apple did not mention the restricted areas in the log document. However, considering all the changes Apple has made recently due to DMA, it is expected that the above adjustments will only be limited to Europe.

In response to the EU's DMA requirements, Apple confirmed that it is developing a user-friendly solution, which will allow iPhone users to easily transfer data to Android. This is targeted for completion in the fall of 2025.
