ASUS Prepares the Latest Generation ROG Ally with More Powerful Performance, Check the Leaks

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Asus is rumored to be launching the latest generation of ROG Ally. The presence of the device, named ROG Ally X, was known from the ROG Pulse broadcast with Jake Kulinski and Whitson Gordon.

Quoting information from GSM ArenaSunday (12/5/2024), ROG Ally X will offer more features, including improved performance compared to the current generation.

However, the improvements presented will not be truly different. Because, this device will bridge current products and next generation products.

Therefore, the ROG Ally X will most likely still use the Ryzen Z1 chip and support a 120Hz VRR screen. However, Asus ensures that it will still provide a number of updates.

According to reports The VergeAsus SVP Shawn Yen said, the battery capacity of this device will increase by around 30 to 40 percent compared to the Ally 2023.

In fact, Shawn claims, this device can last twice as long in the worst case scenario as its predecessor.

Apart from that, this ROG Ally successor also offers increased memory from the previous 16GB. The M.2 2230 slot has also been replaced with the more common M.2 2280 to make upgrading easier.

Asus also hinted at an upgrade to the ports, including changing the position of the microSD slot so that the card is not damaged by heat. Another interesting change is in the joystick which is easier to replace.

Meanwhile, for the design, Asus is said to not be making many changes, and the only color option available is black. The plan is that ROG Ally X will be officially launched on June 2 2024.

There is a possibility that this Asus ROG product will be the company's main highlight at Computex 2024. Even though the price is said to be higher than the 2023 version, Asus ensures that the two models will still be sold together.
