AVC Challenge Cup 2023: Defeating Kazhakstan, Indonesian Men’s Volleyball Team Qualifies for Top 6

– The Indonesian men’s volleyball team defeated Kazhakstan 3-0 in the top 12 of the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup at the Taipei University Gymnasium, Wednesday (12/7/2023). This victory made Indonesia qualify for the top 6 round of the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup

Indonesia previously progressed from the group phase of the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup by sweeping away wins in two group matches in Pool F.

Against Kazhakstan, the Indonesian men’s volleyball national team was able to prove to be a team that deserves respect.

In the first set, the match was tight. The two teams chased each other but Indonesia was able to close the game with a 30-28 victory.

The second set was also fierce. The points tally for both teams was tight. Indonesia, which had won 20-18, was able to be compared to 20-20 by Kazhakstan. But after that, Indonesia shot up points by winning again 24-21. Several times the points are obtained from the blocks from the opponent’s attacks. Indonesia finally closed the second set with a 25-21 win.

Winning 2-0 made the confidence of Indonesian players increase. Coming from behind 2-3, Indonesia immediately stepped on the gas by winning 6-3 and 11-7. Indonesia’s good defense often results in a lot of points.
