EA is Working on the Black Panther Game, Will Be Played as a Single-Player

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Electronic Arts aka EA announced that it will work on a game adaptation of the famous Marvel superhero, Black Panther. Even though there hasn’t been any leaks, it’s stated that this game will become a game third-person single-player.

For cultivation, as quoted from The Vergesturned over to studio EA Cliffhanger Games, which partnered with Marvel Games.

EA Cliffhanger is led by Kevin Stephens, who previously headed Monolith Productions during game development Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

Quoting Marvel’s official website, Tuesday (18/7/2023), the working team has also been involved in the development of several titles such as Hello Infinite, God of War, as well as Call of Duty.

“We are dedicated to giving fans the definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-based video game,” said Stephens.

“Wakanda is a rich Super Hero sandbox, and our mission is to develop an epic world for players who love Black Panther and want to explore the world of Wakanda as much as we do,” he said.

This partnership with Marvel Games was made “to ensure we craft every aspect of Wakanda, its technology, its heroes, and our own original story with the attention to detail and authenticity that the world of Black Panther deserves.”

There is no further information regarding the details and when this game will be launched, and for which platforms.
