Former Manchester United Striker Prepares to Become Manager of This Dutch Club
Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is set to embark on a new journey in his career as a manager. The latest news says he will lead Dutch club SC Heerenveen.
After hanging up his boots in 2019, Robin Van Persie took steps to switch to the world of coaching. He began working with the youth team of Feyenoord, the club where he started his career.
After coaching Feyenoord's U-18 and U-19 teams, Van Persie is now on the verge of taking the big step of becoming first team manager. He has been involved in intense conversations with Heerenveen and hopes to reach an agreement in the near future.
After considering several other candidates, including Maurice Steijn and Rick Kruys, Heerenveen have now chosen Van Persie as the main choice after showing competence during discussions.
