Indonesia vs Cambodia, Life and Death Match to Host the 2023 SEA Games
The Indonesian U-22 team has arrived at the Phnom Penh National Olimpyc Stadium to play host to Cambodia in the Group A match of the 2023 SEA Games men’s soccer preliminary round, Wednesday (10/5/2023).
The national team players arrived at the stadium with happy faces and entered the locker room. The Indonesia vs Cambodia match is scheduled to start at around 19.00 WIB.
Indonesia, which leads in Group A standings with 9 points, on paper has secured a ticket to the semifinals. The Garuda Muda team recorded an unbeaten feat by scoring 11 goals without conceding.
On the other hand, this fight will determine Cambodia’s life and death if they still want to continue fighting. Because Cambodia’s position is third in the standings with four points behind the second Myanmar with six points.
This condition made Cambodia have to win against Indonesia and hoped that Myanmar would slip when facing the Philippines which was held at the same time.
