Jurgen Klopp Interested in Becoming the German National Team Coach

Liverpool, Beritasatu.com – Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp admits he is interested in the position of coach of the German national team. However, he stressed that he would still be in charge of Liverpool.

However, Klopp insists he must stay at Liverpool.

“The job as coach of the German national team is a great honour, no doubt,” Klopp told Sky DeutschlandFriday (21/7/2023)

According to Klopp, one of the obstacles for him to be able to fill that position is loyalty. Klopp admits that he is still loyal to the club The RedsLiverpool’s nickname.

“The problem that stands in the way of everything is my loyalty. I can’t leave Liverpool now and say I’m going to take over Germany for a short time. It didn’t work and the demand didn’t even exist. If I have to do that at some point then I have to be ready and at the moment I’m not ready,” he added.

However, Klopp has not closed the door if he can become the coach of the German national team after he is no longer at Liverpool.

“I have a responsibility to the club. Basically, it’s an interesting job, but I don’t know yet if I will do something completely different after leaving Liverpool. I want to keep my options open,” he added
