Korea Open 2023: Pramudya/Yeremia Work Hard to Get Through the Round of 32

Yeonsu, Beritasatu.com – The Pramudya Kusumawardhana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Rambitan pair made it through the top 32 of the Korea Open 2023. Pramudya/Yeremia won the step to the top 16 after defeating Jeppe Bay/Lasse Molhede.

Pramudya / Yeremia successfully won 21-18, 21-16 over their opponent in the match played at Jinnam Stadium, Tuesday (18/7/2023).

This was the first win in Pramudya/Yeremia’s inaugural meeting over the Danish pair.

This result made Pramudya/Yeremia the first Indonesian representative to qualify for the round of 16. Previously, two other men’s doubles representatives, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, had to be eliminated.

Fikri/Bagas were defeated by the pair who qualified from the qualifying round, Jon Yong/Na Sung Seung 6-21, 10-21 with a duration of only 27 minutes.

A similar fate was experienced by Leo/Daniel who had to give up losing 11-21, 21-16, 13-21 to the Taiwanese pair Lu Ching Yap/Yang Po Han.

There is still one Indonesian men’s doubles representative, namely Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, who will only compete on Wednesday (19/7/20230 tomorrow) against the pair who qualified from the qualifying round Korko Sung Hyun/Korshin Baek Cheol.
