Kyle Walker Agrees to Move from Man City to Bayern Munich

– Recent reports suggest that Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has reached an oral agreement to join Bayern Munich in this summer’s transfer window.

Information from journalists Sky SportsFloria Plattenberg, revealed that this verbal agreement was reached on Friday (14/7/2023) and the England national team player is reportedly ready to join the Bundesliga club.

Currently, it is only a negotiation between Bayern and Manchester City so that the right-back from England can leave for Germany.

Reported by The AthleticMan City asked for a sum of 15 million pounds (around Rp. 288 billion) as a selling price for Walker, who still had one year left on his contract with The Citizens.

Since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in 2016, Walker has won 12 trophies, including five Premier League titles and the Champions League.

In six seasons playing for Man City, the 33-year-old player has appeared in a total of 254 matches, scored six goals and provided 18 assists.

Last season, Walker made 39 appearances for Man City as the English club won treble in the 2022/2023 season, although he missed several important matches, including last season’s Champions League final.

On the other hand, Man City is reportedly interested in getting Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich as a replacement for Walker if this transfer materializes.
