Pornas Korpri XVI, Minister of PANRB: Momentum to Foster Harmony and ASN Unity

– Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas opened the 16th National Sports Week for the Republic of Indonesia Civil Servants Corps (Pornas XVI Korpri) in 2023, in Semarang City, Friday (14/7/2023). Anas believes that Pornas Korpri is not only a special moment to celebrate the spirit of sports. Pornas Korpri 2023 also becomes platforms it is important to foster a spirit of togetherness and unity among ASN from various agencies and regions.

“Porn Korpri 2023 is not only about championships, but also about the spirit of togetherness, brotherhood and unity. Let’s respect differences, but remain united in the spirit to serve the nation and country with high dedication,” said Anas.

Through sports interactions and activities, continued Anas, relations among ASNs could be strengthened and collaboration networks that would be beneficial for the advancement of public services could be expanded. The government appreciates sport as an effective means of tracking talented athletes who have the potential to create sporting achievements among employees. Henceforth it can be supported and developed within the scope of sports achievement development at the regional level, at the national level, or even at the international level.

Spirit fair play, teamwork, and the ability to face challenges with strong determination are values ​​in various sports that can be instilled in various aspects of life, including for ASN themselves. All participants in Korpri 2023 Pornas are representatives of Indonesia’s strength, dedication and diversity.

Through sports, all ASN can show unwavering enthusiasm, high fighting spirit, and a spirit of unity which is the cornerstone of the pride of the Indonesian nation. Therefore, in the Korpri 2023 Pornas ASN has the opportunity to show talent, fighting spirit and high sportsmanship.

“Run with passion fair playand make every match a lesson to keep improving yourself in facing challenges in the world of work,” Anas added.

Closing his remarks, the Minister of PANRB hopes that the 2023 Korpri Pornas will not only provide beautiful memories, but also encourage ASN to continue to be committed to maintaining health, sports enthusiasm, and a spirit of togetherness.

“Have a good match while upholding sportsmanship. Jaya Korpri, glorious sport,” he concluded.

In line with Anas, Chairman of the National Board of Directors (DPRN Korpri) Zudan Arif Fakrulloh revealed that this year’s Korpri Pornas carried the theme “Forge Togetherness, Achieve Achievements”.

“What we want to protect is Korpri togetherness. Korpri are together, remain professional, and continue development,” he stated.

Pornas XVI Korpri 2023 will be held from 13 July to 23 July 2023. In 2023 there will be 101 contingents and approximately 6,000 athletes official and coaches who are registered to take part in the event which is held every two years. In addition, there are 10 sports that will be competed in this year’s Korpri Pornas event.
