Actress Camila Pitanga used her social networks to celebrate the hospital discharge of her mother, Vera Manhães, aged 74. The news was given by the actress on Monday, 15th, but the reason for her hospitalization was not revealed.

“Thank you, team! There are still a lot of faces missing here, see? Among nurses, responsible for cleaning the room and bathroom. Oh, not to mention the CTI team. My deepest gratitude,” Camila wrote in an Instagram story.

“Mama is already home”, he added.

Camila is the daughter of Vera and Antonio Pitanga, both actors. Having worked on Globo soap operas, Manhães was part of the cast of productions such as Marrom Glacê (1979) and Roque Santeiro (1985). However, she moved away from artistic life in the 80s and faced mental health problems. Today, Vera lives in a house that was a gift from Camila.
