Megawati Says Farewell to the Red Sparks Team

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Indonesian volleyball star Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi said goodbye to the Red Sparks team she played for during the 2023/2024 South Korean Volleyball League season.

Even though they failed to bring Red Sparks to the final round, the Red Spark team's achievements this season were very impressive because they managed to qualify for the final round playoffs or semi-finals after waiting for 7 years.

Megawati's role in this team is also very large and important top scorer at Red Sparks. While competing in the Korean Volleyball League this season, Megawati scored 797 points.

Before returning to Indonesia to compete in the 2024 Proliga, Megawati was seen on holiday with her colleagues on the Red Sparks team. There has been no confirmation whether Megawati will extend her contract at Red Sparks for the next season.
