MNC Prohibits U-23 Asian Cup Events, Netizens Raid Harry Tanoesoedibjo's Instagram

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Instagram account of Harry Tanoesoedibjo, Executive Chairman of MNC Group, was raided by netizens as a result of MNC's announcement prohibiting group viewing (nobar) of the U-23 Asian Cup. They immediately expressed their disappointment in the latest upload on Instagram @harry.tanoesoedibjo.

Many of them do not believe that the U-23 Asian Cup is actually prohibited. Even though currently the euphoria and enthusiasm of the Indonesian people to support the U-23 Indonesian National Team (Timnas) is high.

Moreover, currently the Indonesian U-23 National Team is advancing to the semifinals against Uzbekistan on Monday (29/4/2024). It is not surprising that they are really disappointed if the public is prohibited from holding a celebration to support the U-23 Indonesian National Team in the 2024 Asian Cup.

Meanwhile, MNC in its official statement said that they would continue to provide opportunities for people who want to watch the U-23 National Team against Uzbekistan in the semi-finals on Monday 29 April 2024. This can be done as long as the nobar performance does not charge a fee for spectators or visitors, and does not advertise or accept sponsorship from parties who want to make a profit (non-commercial).
